After sharing a link to a news article related to incident on Thursday, Ayoub Khan said he was “genuinely shocked as to the speed of this enquiry by the Israeli spokespeople”. The aircraft plunged from 33,000 feet to 17,000 feet in just a minute after one pilot allegedly stabbed his co-pilot then tried to hijack the plane.Labour peer Lord Austin slammed Mr Khan’s remarks, saying: “Ayoub Khan needs to apologise for this disgraceful comment which appears to endorse crazy conspiracy theories that the Flydubai terror attack was somehow a false flag by Israel. “This MP seems to be totally obsessed with the world’s only Jewish state.”Decent Brummies and the good people of Perry Barr deserve much better than this.”Ayoub Khan said he was ‘genuinely shocked as to the speed of this enquiry by the Israeli spokespeople’ | HOUSE OF COMMONSThe independent MP rejected the Labour peer’s call, saying: “Is this peer having a laugh? Please tell me he’s joking. Apologise?”He added: “My fellow colleague of the Commons, I wouldn’t believe a word from Netanyahu unless it came independently corroborated, double-checked and preferably notarised by the universe itself.”Other social media users implored Mr Khan to reveal who he believed was responsible for the alleged terror plot, to which he admitted: “I don’t know.””Any reasonable person would wait for the black box recording; testimony of those in the cockpit! not going to simply accept what the lying Bibi butcher of Gaza says,” he added.
