Jet2 has unveiled its biggest ever winter programme, with new flights departing from airports across the UK.The airline announced 34 brand-new routes for Winter 26/27, spanning winter sun, city breaks, ski holidays, and Christmas market getaways.This means there are 6.3 million seats now on sale across 42 destinations, over half a million more than last winter and an 8.7 per cent jump in capacity.Three entirely new destinations are part of the mix, alongside the carrier’s first winter season from London Gatwick Airport.Hurghada is a popular choice for winter sun | GETTY Sun-seekers will love the new winter sun options, with Egypt joining the programme through flights to both Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada. There are also more routes to Morocco, La Palma and Madeira for those chasing some warmth.If festive markets are your choice, Strasbourg is a brand-new destination, and there are new routes to favourites like Gdansk, Copenhagen, Vienna, Cologne and Tallinn too.Ski fans are not forgotten either. New Alpine routes to Grenoble, Turin, Geneva, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Chambéry mean getting to the slopes this winter is easier than ever.The London Gatwick launch marks the first time Jet2 has operated a winter season from the airport, opening up options for holidaymakers across the south of England. Whether they’re after sunshine, festive escapes, snow-sure skiing or cultural city breaks, there’s now something for everyone.On top of the three new destinations, the airline has also boosted capacity to plenty of existing winter favourites.
