
West Brom have sacked Ryan Mason as their head coach after a poor run of games left the club 18th in the Championship.They have become the fifth British club in six days to dismiss their manager.Mason, who lasted seven months in the role, suffered a stoppage-time defeat at Leicester on Monday.It was the team’s 10th away defeat in a row.Mason’s assistant Nigel Gibbs has also left the club.The Baggies are away to Swansea City in the FA Cup on Sunday in their next fixture.They don’t have another league fixture until Middlesbrough visit The Hawthorns on January 16.The club released a statement to confirm the news.
