Marella Cruises has announced that Marella Discovery will become an adult-only ship for summer 2026. The vessel will be based in Limassol, Cyprus, offering exclusive sailings to destinations in Cyprus, Greece, and Turkey.This decision comes in response to the growing demand for adult-only holidays and follows the success of Marella Explorer 2, the cruise line’s popular adult-only ship.The new programme, which went on sale this week on October 17, 2024, aims to provide customers with a variety of itineraries to explore the stunning sights of the Eastern Mediterranean.Crete is among the destinations GETTY Marella Discovery will offer three distinct itineraries, all sailing round trips from Limassol. The Grecian Discovery route will visit Piraeus, Santorini, Bodrum, Heraklion, and Rhodes Town.The Aegean Gems itinerary includes stops at Souda, Piraeus, Izmir, Mykonos and Rhodes Town.For those seeking a different experience, the Aegean Delights route will call at Kos Town, Kusadasi, Patmos, Marmaris, and Alanya.
