Political commentator Aman Bhogal has warned Reform UK against airing its “dirty laundry in public” amid the party’s escalating internal conflict.Speaking to GB News, Bhogal emphasised that parties serious about governance must maintain public unity. His comments come as Reform grapples with the suspension of MP Rupert Lowe following serious allegations of bullying and threats of violence.Speaking to GB News Bhogal said: “It’s very rare for an insurgent party to rise in the polls like this because, let’s be honest, they’re talking about what really matters to people on the doorstep. Aman Bhogal has warned Reform UK against airing its “dirty laundry in public” “Whether it’s immigration, the rape gangs, or the day-to-day, real attacks by the Labour government on pensioners, farmers, and all the rest of it. “So I think one of the first things I learned, back when I was a Conservative Party candidate, is that you don’t air your dirty laundry in public.LATEST DEVELOPMENTS “You need a party that is serious about government and made up of serious people who are ready to lead.””On the contrary, I think this is, in many ways, a storm in a teacup. And of course, don’t forget, a lot of people are trying to connect a lot of things around it, speculating about who is trying to outdo whom and who is trying to undermine whom.”I think this is a storm in a teacup. And it also shows us that Reform does need to have a better handle on how to deal with such things, which are inevitable in any growing political party.”I mean, let’s just go back a few years and remind ourselves of how many scandals and controversies both the Conservative Party and the Labour Party have had.”Reform UK yesterday stripped Lowe of the whip amid allegations of serious misconduct. The party’s chairman Zia Yusuf and chief whip Lee Anderson issued a statement claiming Lowe had “on at least two occasions made threats of physical violence” against Yusuf. The matter has now been reported to police, with the Metropolitan Police receiving a complaint on March 6. Rupert Lowe has been suspended over bully allegations GETTYThe suspension comes just one day after Lowe publicly questioned Nigel Farage’s leadership in an interview with the Daily Mail.Lowe had suggested Reform remains a “protest party led by the Messiah” under Farage, questioning whether he would “deliver the goods” as leader. The timing has fuelled speculation about internal power struggles within the party. The party claims to have received complaints from two female employees about “serious bullying” in Lowe’s offices.
