A man has been charged with the murder of a 93-year-old woman who was found dead at a property in Cornwall.David Botham, 65, from Bude, was remanded into custody at Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.He spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address during a short hearing.District Judge Stuart Smith ordered him to appear before Exeter Crown Court for a bail application hearing on Thursday.Angela Botham was found dead at a property in Cherrill Gardens, Bude, Cornwall, on Sunday afternoon after police responded to a “concern for welfare”.
