
A fire has broken out at Exeter City stadium with firefighters rushing to tackle the late-night blaze.Shocking footage showed emergency services tackling the flames at St James Park.It is understood the inferno first started at the grounds of Exeter City FC at around 11pm although it is not know how the fire started.Videos posted online appear to show the fire engulfing the back of the Adam Stansfield stand and it is thought the blaze may have first started in the temporary cabins or bins.It is not yet known how serious the fire is.One bystander said they were first alerted to the blaze by the smell of smoke, while another said she could hear an alarm blaring.Devastated football fans took to social media to share their horror about the situation.
