We’re back to being tennis players. That being said, I don’t think much has changed for me being married. I think same old-same old. I’m definitely very excited to get going.”Both players are now back in action at the Washington Open, where de Minaur is the defending champion after defeating Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in last year’s final. He’ll be keen to hold onto that title before the US Open gets underway at Flushing Meadows next month.As for Boulter, she’s also settled the question everyone’s been asking about her surname. According to journalist Ben Rothenberg, the 29-year-old will use de Minaur privately but continue competing under her maiden name on the WTA Tour. She’s already switched to Katie de Minaur over on X, though her Instagram still shows her birth name — with the initials “KDM” added to her bio as a nod to her new married life.
