Travellers planning their 2026 holidays may want to add these stunning coastlines to their wishlists, as new research has revealed the world’s most beautiful beaches.A beach in Tunisia beat out popular destinations such as Spain, Greece and Portugal to be named the best option. Stretching for around four kilometres, the Mediterranean beach is renowned for its calm waters, making it a favourite among families and watersports enthusiasts alike.İçmeler Bay Beach in Turkey also impressed thanks to its vibrant blue water, golden shoreline and backdrop of pine-covered mountains. Once a small fishing village, İçmeler has grown into one of the Turkish Riviera’s most popular seaside destinations while retaining its natural charm.Rounding out the top three is Reduit Beach in Saint Lucia, which earned one of the highest water saturation scores in the study. Located in Rodney Bay, the nearly two-mile stretch of sand is widely regarded as one of the Caribbean island’s most iconic beaches and remains a favourite for travellers seeking a classic tropical escape.The research also highlighted Turkey as the standout destination overall, with four beaches placing inside the top 10.
