Tom Harwood has launched into an explosive rant live on GB News as he discussed a Parliamentary language row that had rocked PMQs. The GB News host fumed over the row, which saw Tory leader Kemi Badenoch cautioned by Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle over her brutal barbs to the Labour frontbenches. In stinging attacks, Mrs Badenoch branded Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson a “spiteful class warrior” and Energy Secretary Ed Miliband a “failed leader rejected by the country”. The back-and-forth prompted Sir Lindsay to advise parliamentarians to maintain respect for each other and not to encourage abuse of MPs outside the chamber. Later in the GB News studio, Tom was left apoplectic with the telling off. “Why is there this expectation that everyone has to be so saccharine sweet to everyone all the time? “I mean, the politics is combative. We call these things campaigns, as if they were military campaigns. “These people are meant to be grown-ups. They’re meant to be leaders. “Now you’ve got not just the Prime Minister, but the other opposition leaders whining to the speaker about ‘Oh, Mrs Badenoch said some nasty words’.“Grow the F- up. What on earth is going on now?”WATCH THE FULL CLIP ABOVE
