Nigel Farage delivers verdict as Andrew ‘brutally’ stripped of Prince title

Nigel Farage has delivered his verdict after Buckingham Palace has decided to strip Andrew of his prince title. The GB News host said that the decision is “brutal” but it is “reflective of the modern media age.”The Kings brother will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.Discussing the decision from the King, Nigel said: “King Edward the Eighth betrayed the country, broke his coronation oath, walked away despite all the pledges he’d made in the abbey. “Yet they made him the Duke of Windsor. He became the governor of the Bahamas.”I mean, he wasn’t necessarily welcomed back, but this is much more brutal. I guess this is the modern media and social media age, isn’t it?”Andrew has faced controversy in recent years due to his links to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. It is understood that although Andrew denies the accusations, Buckingham Palace considers that there have been “serious lapses of judgment”.In a statement, the Palace said: “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.“His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.“Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.“These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”The statement added: “Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”More to follow..
